Yodeling- One among Kishore Kumar manifold talent

Hi friends, in this post I am going to tell you about one of Kishore Da manifold talents Yodeling.
As per English dictionary the meaning of Yodeling is a form of singing or calling marked by rapid alternation between the normal voice and high pitch head register (falsetto). The English word Yodel is derived from the German word Jodel meaning " uter the syllable Jo" (pronounced Yo in English). As per Wikipedia it was used in the central Alps ( Europe) by herders for calling their stock or to communicate between Alpine villages.
This is all about the history and meaning of Yodeling. Now I will come to the topic. Kishore Da is the first musician who introduced Yodeling to the Hindi music industry.
Yodeling became more than just a musical device for Kishore Da. He adopted it as a form of expression. One more interesting thing I wanna tell you that as per Kishore Da biography "Kishore Kumar: Method in Madness" by Derek Bose, Anup Kumar, younger brother of Kishore Da introduced Yodeling to him. Kishore Da became so fascinating with it and began listening and practicing until he perfected the art and introduced in his songs. It was an instant hit.
Some songs with Yodeling by Kishore Da are:
1. Nakhrewali- film 'New Delhi (1956)'
2. Panch rupaiya barah aana & Haal kaisa hai janab ka- film 'Chalti ka Naam gaadi (1958)'
3. Main hoon jhum jhum jhum jhum jhumroo- film 'Jhumroo (1961)'
4. Yeah Dil Na hota bechara- film 'Jewel Thief (1976)'
5. Zindagi ek Safar hai Suhana- film 'Aradhana (1969)'
And many more.
